I used to be into model airplanes. You know the ones with little motors that really fly. but they were to expensive when i was younger. i might do it again. they must be cheap now and when you fly one, you do learn a lot about flight. Stalling a aircraft, landing and taking off etc.
there was one earlier but he took off!
I like just about any airplane ever made. I like jets, but I lean towards the old props, like the DC3, Super Constellation. You could say I've always been fascinated by aviation.

Not to avid rather fly than look and prefer from first to end of second world war,love the sound of R/R Merlin's at full throttle.all the best Frank. In saying that it doesn't compare with the sound of a Vulcan at full belt you can actually feel the power.

Yahoo has several pilot forums that you can log into and chat with pilots, wanna be-s and people just interested in aviation. Do a google search on "aviation" and you will get more info specific to your needs.
