it too the garage where Iv'e had a lot of work done 1 after the other may I add. first an oil leak, then the water pump replaced, n now the matrix he told me. It has cost me £800 so far and he wants another £200 for the matrix. I sence there might be some sabotage along the way so i refuse topay this garage any more.how can i tel if it is the matrix? sounds like the heater matrix, quite common on Peugeots when they get to a bit of an age.
You will find it behind the centre console, it removes into the drivers side footwell.
Best place to buy one is German Swedish and French, they are genuine parts at pattern prices and you get all the o seals, new pipes and fixings.
Although it is a fiddly job, it is not beyond the scope of DIY repair.
If you are getting ripped off to that extent, invest in a Haynes manual and a few tools.
You'll find most jobs are suprisingly simple.
