Does anyone have a cure for smearing on car windscreens,tried vinegar but it doesn,t last?

try saline solution. usually for contact len use. Ive been using it for ages.
Always clean wiper blades or change them.
If vinegar doesn't last, mix it into your screen wash, so everytime you squirt your window, it will clear the smear. I actually mix in glass detergent with my screenwash. The stuff that comes with carwash kits.
Try cleaning or replacing your wiper blades.
Cut a round onion in half and wipe the entire windscreen with it, then rinse and dry.

if you use a good screen wash in you water bottle that helps. but if you clean them with soapy water then dry them off with dry news paper til they gleam. you wil have no streaks and that wil do the trick.
