If your back wheel isn't on the yellow lines, but the bumper is slightly over.?

Could I still get a parking ticket?

Answers:
The way a parking attendant decides whether you are parked illegally in this case is if half of your wheel or more is on the yellow line.

I know this because we parked like this once and the attendant explained it to us.

Hope this helps
Technically yes, but that's a pretty harsh call from the parking officer.
No. Even if your back wheel is just on the line you shouldn't really get a ticket.
I've even heard of people getting off with tickets because the paint was old and worn through so the lines were broken. Your whole car needs to be on the lines to get done.
probably ye coz how would u prove it wasn't on yellows? u can't and the law will always support "traffic wankers" coz they all think there god in uniform
yes.a story in the daily telegraph today was somebody whining that they had got a ticket and a fine because they were parked in their own drive with the bumper over the yellow lines and they were fined £30.
as they must have been blocking the footpath as well i have no sympathy with them.
It's wheels that count.
Unfortunatley yes. They have a vertical line from the end of the yellow lines and if any part of your vehicle crosses it they can do you for it. However there is a clause. If the yellow line is not crossed at the end with another line i.e " ---| " then it is not a complete line and they cannot do you for it. It is also the case if the yellow line is broken in any place i.e. " |------- --------| ". hope this helps. This is what it should be " |----------------------| ".
as long as your wheels are not over you shouldn't get a ticket.if you do, you have the right to appeal.
Dont take the risk, if the authorities can get money out of a motorist they will, so will a traffic warden.
If in Scotland the answer is no .. not sure about the rest of the UK
