Why not? There was a guy who slapped a RR grill on a home built car with a giant engine in it (he claimed it was a merlin, turned out to be from a tank). RR took him to court and got him to remove the grill, but that was only 'cause it wasn't their car. If you start out with one of theirs they can;t do the same to you.
