I have a electricly powered wheel that fits the front of my wheelchair can I make it any faster?

I believe that there is a restriction device either in the wheel hub, the controller or the twist grip throttle. can anybody help me go faster?

Answers:
yes stick a twin turbo on it phewwwwwwwwwwwww fast as fook it will be then or stick twin 40 webbers on it wow no stopping u..
you could put some turbo thrusters on it.
Can you change the gearing?
Can you make the wheel a bit larger?
You can go 100mph if you have enough money.
must be the safety rules for the chair.do not overdue it.
honest truth. i knew a bloke who put a yamaha rd 350 ypvs engine in a wheel chair and got caught speeding at 60 mph in a wheelchair!! lmao
Don't know how the drive wheel/gear is connected to the othere wheels/gears, but IF you increase the size of the drive gear you WILL go faster. I am sure there are other ways to do it but would have to know more about the drive train. Pops
tie a jet engine on the back a spoiler and parachute youll have a dragster
First off, it's "Electrically". Answer: why do you want to go faster for heaven's sake? The chair has been designed in all its parts to move at the rated speed. Alter it and you'll need more than a wheelchair!
