What is the average number of miles British motorists make a year?

Answers:
The average mileage for a driver in the uk is 12,000 miles, however there are many variations on this for example a road traffice police officer friend of mine regularly travels 50,000 miles a year, i myself as an NVQ assessor foe Mercedes - Benz in the first year of my employment covered some 40,000 in just works duties so i could add an extra 10,000 on there for private mileage. then there are some who dont travel that much at all, when i was working as a mechanic i think the record from one mot to another mot by one of my regular customers was 3.4 miles !
DEPENDS HOW FAR YOUR GOING! MILES PER YEAR FOR THE AVARAGE MOTOR IS 12,000 SO THAT MAY BE THE ANSWER YOUR LOOKING FOR
