In an car engine with aluminium Head & block, how much percent is the aluminium weightwise?
Answers:
i would say 60-70%, this would be because steel weighs more than aluminium. Your steel parts would include, crank, rods, valves, bearings, bolts, water pump impeller, springs, retainers, oil pump and various odds and ends. It could have steel sleeves and valve guides too.
Other than scrapping aluminium, why do you need to know? It would be different for any engine.
read the manual

Its easier to steal aluminium from a scrap dealers than work percentages. Its also more productive and remunerative.
