Does anyone no where the speedo sensor is located a diesel astra x plate?

Answers:
Connors correct Mick.
near transmission
its in the left front wheel (passenger side front) hub - its built into the bearing and the whole unit will have to be replaced if its faulty - the wires may be broken they come out of the hub behind the brake calliper and in front of the drive shaft - if its an auto its on top of the diff housing at the back of the box.
yeah sorry about this but i dont care if that bloke is a vauxhaul mechanic or not no company has EVER put a spedometer sensor in a hub or near a wheel it has ALLWAYS been put directly on top of the gearbox, then the speedo cable runs straight through the bulkhead into the back of your dials, if anyone would like to tell me im wrong i would like proof :D cheers, hoe this has helped you out
