Has anyone heard of a safety device on a Opel astra sport hatch?

that when you have a head on collusion it releases the engine out of the car to prevent the passengers from being crushed

Answers:
No, thats nonsense.

A lot of modern cars have a device which stops the fuel in the event of a collision so that there is less risk of fire.

Having said that, the mass of an engine may cause it to leave the vehicle through the front if the vehicle suddenly stopped, ie hit a brick wall
Wrong category, should be in jokes and riddles, if the engine came out it would crush the passengers, mind you the engine mountings are a bit flimsy.
no i think you've been told a lie as no car does this get , but they are working on this for the future in Germany , but definitely not in your Opel Astra sport , sorry .
I think you have made that one up!
