My car is currently off road at my parents place in their locked garage. All the insurance companies i have tried don't do just fire & theft which is what i need until i can drive again. Please help as i have had no insurance for a week already but i don't want to risk it.

Ask your parents to check their home contents insurance, you may well find that if the car is kept locked in the garage, they may cover car as part of garage contents, good luck

cheapest insurance I found for a car was with Tescos, go to their website for instant quote (Dirt cheap!)
Minimum is third party. You can't get just fire&theft.
