How can you stop the inside of car/van windows from icing up ?

Cold mornings mean that i have more ice on the inside of my winscreen than the outside , any tips on what to rub on it to stop this happening

Answers:
the old simple method is to clean windows as normal with vinegar and newspaper then cut a large potato in half and apply the cut section to the window then polish till clear its fantastic and no nasty chemicals
meths, but dont inhale too much
move it somewhere warmer.
Start the car/van and let it warm up and turn on the defroster.and let it do its jod other then that ..no ..nothing you can do ..if you cannot keep it in a garage
Clean windows thoroughly then spray with a little silicone furniture polish.
If there's ice on the inside it means the car is letting in exterior air in somewhere. Is a window open, or a seal damaged?
I has this on an old escort, it turned out that the windscreen bonding was no longer stuck to the screen (it actually moved!) so the inside was getting the same frost treatment as the outside.
