Whatever would we do without..?
Vehicles!!
What ever would we do without vehicles
That choke the poor planet so
They Take up so much space
That the sad human race always need somewhere to go.
What ever would we do without vehicles
That pollute out posionous gases,
Delivery vans, mile long traffic jams
And cars that maintain certain classes.
What ever would we do without vehicles
that cause thousands of deaths every year
And kids that joyride once the break inside
And drive without worry or fear.
I know what we would do without vehicles
We could all turn environmentally green
We were created with feet to walk down the street
And a damn vehicle would never be seen!!
Thanks..

The poem was a joy. I have written many about my feelings, but never had the guts to publish them. If it gets your opinion over to others, it is a deed well done. You have made them think!
your a poet and you didn't know it. without vehicles we would be stuffed the whole of our society would collapse.
fooooooood gurllll we got a live
we would all have to work close to home.the barter system would still be in place.as many would have skills to do things.but no money so we'd have to trade a service for a service or for goods such as food and clothing. We'd probably still be using horses which would mean someone would have to clean up after them.bottom line.we'd still be living in the 1800's.
While I agree automobiles do pollute.auto makers are doing their best to keep it to a minimum.
Ok you are an environmentalist.but without the automobile.all the possibilities of what we have now wouldn't exhist.probably wouldn't even have computers to participate in such things as this.as how would people get them.and how would we be able to get the services we want.
The automobile is a great invention.I"d hate to think that I couldn't persue a better career just cause I couldn't get there in a timely manner.
OH! I do like to be beside the sea side .Oh I do like to be beside the sea.. Don't you like holidays then?
Very nice ! Some of us live out in `the sticks` where walking is not an option, unless you have the time to walk for 3 hours there and back just to buy a pint of milk!
When the petrol shortage was on a few years ago, I walked a few miles to local town/shops and it's OK in good weather, on safe roads.
But there's no provision for pedestrians on any of the roads to nearest towns out here. You're taking your life in your hands walking along the roads.

PS I didn't get a car until I was 30 something
Living in a city it's , bus, walk, cycle or Taxi ! Cheaper by far!
If we didn't chuck out those gases a volcanoe would do it for us. Seriously though, why don't the green monkies go for the problem rather than the response. One 40 year old Oak tree will breathe in the equivilent Co2 that a 4.0 V8 engine would chuck out if constantly running, yet the incompetant Green people seem to realise that this solution involves no real fighting (which they love) and doesn't involve them earning a load of money (which they also love), therefore they won't mention it. This suggests if you want to solve the problem, plant some Bloody trees!
The BNP includes a collection of Motley thugs, the Green Party and other supporters are a band of orderly merciless thugs praying on peoples fears and weaknesses. They should all be hung by their genitals.
vechicles oh vechicles what we do with out you , you would never go anywere, and i would be blue
Right lets all get back on horses and use the manure to help grow our roses
What would you walk down the street for? The shops would have nothing to sell. How would products be delivered? Do you really think we could live as we did 150 years ago? You wouldn't have been able send your poem, as you wouldn't have a computer. Or a telephone system. Or electricity. The list is endless. The answer is of course, in the dark ages.
