when ecu light comes on power is lost but engine will still tick over. Throttle control unit has been changed. Coolant temperature sensors have been changes. Problem still occurring. Can anyone help?

i own a repair shop,and if the old trouble code wasn't erased off the memory of the computer it will still run like it has a bad tcu,on it id take and have the memory cleared off and see if it comes back on,chances are it wont come back,used to you could just remove the battery cable and do it,but now it has to cleared off with the machine id say that's it though you can take it to an auto zone store and they will clear it off for you for free,and that should take care of it good luck,,i hope this help,s.
