I have bought an X category vechile from a salvage company, what does this mean?

I know what a,b,c,d, category means, but not sure about "X". does this show up on a hpi check

Answers:
I believe this means the vehicle has a "Salvage Title", but I am not 100% sure. I think your best bet would be to contact your local Motor Vehicle Registration office and ask them. HTH!!
do a check and see.DUH!
I thought X was for when they are not sure of the year. may be wrong though
means they the vehicle is unrecorded, not been reported as being accident damage. Usually means recovered stolen vehicle or has slight damage
