I have a VW Passat 1.6 1998 model. With 60,000 miles on. When its wet or cold weather it stalls a lot. Ideas?

It still has the original spark plugs, could replacing them help?

Try changing your air filter and cleaning out your fuel injection system. Also check your fuel pump it could be dirty. You should get a good tuneup. That will probably take care of it.

VW'S HAVE A LOT OF WIREING PROBLEMS AND DIST PROBLEMS AND STILL DO TODAY.NOT JUST COMPUTOR RELATED PROBLEMS.HAVE YOU CHECKED THE DIST .CAP FOR CRACKS.OR AN ISC.MOTOR.IT PROBLY WOULDNT HURT IF U CHANGE THE PLUGS
