Now this DOES annoy me about 4X4 drivers!?
Needless to say, I engaged high range, diff lock on and pulled away with no probs. Now THAT is what annoys me about 4X4 drivers!!

i tow a 29ft caravan ,2 happy well adjusted teenagers 4 canoes c/w all nessasary equipment 4mountain bikes (those and the canoes ensure im doing my bit to counter act climate change) 3dogs .thats 1springer 1jack russel,and 1 very large st bernard we used to have 4 dogs but we lost our our newfoundland last year my wife children and myself enjoy our times spent together and we actually contribute a hell of a lot of money into the british economy what with buying our 4x4 (10yrs old by the way)our new van (brand new by the way) our bikes all british made by the way canoes yes you quessed it made in the uk so how about some of you pollitically correct and environmently brainwashed hypocrits give the 4x4 drivers some space get off your high horses and your computers and save the planet in a more positive way and get a life im sorry that this doesnt apply to this question question but some of the replies are inane thanks for taking the time to read this and no offence is meant jim ps try doing all that with a peugeot 205!

What annoys me is how they don't know how to turn them. They have to stop in the middle of the road while turning into a driiveway, so the entire line of traffic comes to a dead stop behind them.

Spare a thought for all those who drive sensible, less-polluting, less dangerous to pedestrians, ordinary cars. They have to put up with the sad posers in their chav wagon, 4x4s (or SUVs as some like to call them), with their tinted windows, bull bars, extra headlights (which are never used) and spray-on mud, who take up 2 parking spaces, tailgate smaller cars over road humps, and barge their way around, as if they own the road.
Not to mention the danger they pose to other people's children as they struggle to park outside the school gates, while on the school run, taking their (usually only one) child to and from school.
This is what annoys other drivers about 4x4 drivers.

at least he was offroad, somewhere 95% of SUV drivers never venture, and actually towing something heavy as well.
Ok he should have got someone to explain how his car worked when he bought it, but at least he had a valid reason for buying one.

Your only right to a degree, correct its full time 4 wheel drive but its not really got diff lock as such have a look ARB diff lockers and you will see what I mean that's real diff lock if I knew how to post a video of my off roader with out a diff locker you would understand it as well.
And for all you ANTI 4x4's I only go off road and I use LPG what do you use?
At least he bought a vehicle suitable for the job. The amount of people in Yahoo Answers that believe all 4x4's are evil is unbelievable. There's very few vehicles that could take a horse box with two horses in it into a field and get it back out again. I work in the motor trade and I truly believe that most 20 year old vehicles that get scrapped with a user manual that has never been opened. Quite often people need to be shown what their vehicle is capable of and what all the buttons and levers do.
