I was wondering if, on the London Underground, all platforms for opposing directions stand side-by-side to each other or if, in some cases, they stand quite far away from each other. If so, in which stations does that happen?
Answers:
Yes kings cross has them. but,
On Angel sation they are the SAME platform.
The platforms at Embankment for the district and Circle lines are offset somewhat but most stations both platforms are at the same point on either side (or in between) the tracks.
At the Northern Line and Victoria Line platforms at Euston the two Northbound and the two Southbound platforms are side by side. At South Kensington they are on top of each other.
