Whats the average mileage for a 1998 R plate Ford KA?
Answers:
I've got a '98 Ka, and it's done just under 70,000 and it's still going strong. As most of the answers have already stated, that mileage is way below average, so it's good!
The Ka does have an underpowered, out of date engine but that means it's easier to maintain, and should just keep on going as long as you keep putting petrol in it!
700000 is highly impossible.maybe 70000 but the engine would have died long ago.thats almost 1 million miles and a 4 cylinder wouldnt hold up that long
i think thats ok (70,000)
but at that milage give it a good £100 service every year
and it will keep going
my sister in law has done more on a T plate
it depends on how much it has been driven. 700000 to me is a bit to much excessive. i would not touch it with a barge pole. think you could run in to loads of trouble because of wear and tear of the car.so be careful. if it is 70,000 thats ok to me id have a drive and see how you feel. but 700,000 is loads more than the average mileage of that plate.
if that is mean,t to read 70,000 thats low it would be about 96,000 miles average for year
Do you mean seventy thousand or seven hundred thousand?
70 thousand would be under the average..
700 thousand is virtually impossible. it would mean doing about 90 thousand miles a year. thats 250 miles a day - 365 days a year. just doesn't sound right!
70 thousand does. and that's not too bad.
Average mileage is quoted as 12000 per year.
You should purchase cars with an average of 15,000 miles per year or less. If your car has 70,000 on it (instead of the 700,000 you listed) it should be around this number:
8 years X 15,000 = 120,000 miles
If it's lower than that number, you're doing good! ;)
Well average miles for a car is 12,000 a year so it would be 96,000 miles, i personally wouldnt by a car with anything over 30,000 miles but it depends on what money you have to spend i think about 75,000 should be expected.
10,000 to 12,000 miles per year is the national average.
The average mileage for any car is 10000 miles a year, so that's just about right really.
the average mileage is 12,500 per year 8x12,500 sum dealers quote average 13,500 per year so you are well in which ever one you quote the other thing is a full service record if that is up to date that will also be advantageous that history is revelent to most cars and adds to the value on PX
