What is the average mileage for an X reg car (year 2000) ?
Answers:
Insurance purposes - 12,000 miles per year
Dealer purposes - 15,000 miles per year
This is the national average in the USA and is open to adjustment depending on where the car is. It is less in major cities and more in country settings. In Montana, for instance, the average is 19,000. In some of the more densely populated areas it can be as low as 10,000.
if it served well 120,000 it would have been clocked by now i would think
(over 100,000)
average at 12,000 a year
Between 10-12,000 insurance companys rate 10,000 as an average. Probably is if you live on the Isle of Wight..lol
Dealers would look to a mileage of around 60000 / 65000
insurance companies work out average mileages to be about 12000 per year. So having said that the average milage should be approx. 12000 multiplied by 7 years which is 84000
12,000 a year about 72,000miles
They say around 12000 a year in the UK, but I only do around 5000. If it has been well looked after it might be fine
Average is 12000. but here are some factors to look in to. What was this car used for? Some companies put 100000miles a year on their cars. I have to service trucks that never leave the city and they recieve about 45000 easy. Look into them. Remember Highway miles are much better that city miles.
