When you trade in your car do you keep the tax disc? Mine has 10 months on!?

Answers:
You can if you want and get a refund for the months left on it. But generally when you trade the car in they give you more for it, if its taxed and MOTd.
Yes you can, and you can get a refund for the unused months.
yes you can and if you send it back to the dvla they will refund you what is left on it, for more info you can read about it on their website, just type dvla into your search engine, they will also have the form available for you to print off that you have to send in with your old tax disc
yes, but they will only pay you back for FULL months, so if you traded it in today, you wouldn't get anything for august.

Have a word with the dealer he might buy it from you.
Yes, remove it and send to DVLA for a refund.
