Can my car's spare wheel be fitted if the rim size is 14" whilst the other wheels are 15"?
Answers:
Yes you can. If it is the space saver tyre, A really thin looking thing, then you cant drive above 50mph, and are only meant as a temperary measure while the proper one is replaced ./ repaired. It is the same for any other tyre as the difference in sizes can affect the cars handling. You can also get 3penalty points on your licence if a rozzer catches you and thinks there is no reason why you are driving with incorrectly sized or different sized tyres.
You can use it for a short distance,it will make the car steer awkward if it is on the front, there is only 1 inch difference if the tires or the sam higth and width-205/70/15 or 205/70/14.

if you keep the 14 inch should be alright if you put it on the rear of the car. so if you get a puncture on the front just swap them around so the spare goes on the rear
I think your car is front wheel drive so fit the 14 inch wheel to the rear axle. If you put it on the front or drive axle, with a 15 on the other side, you can do massive damage to the tranny or differential.
The effect is the same as a "donut" (or spacesaver) spare tire provided with most new cars. Fit it to the rear, if possible, especially on a front wheel drive.
Make sure it goes on the back, on the front the steering will become sorta guess-work, but the back won't feel a huge difference unless you go over about 40MPH.
