Which landrover engine is best 200tdi 300tdi or td5?

i think the 200 tdi may be best although it may be slightly noisier than the 300 tdi,the 300 was supposed to be modified to over come the 200 problems but actually only made things worse,the td5 was quite a sophisticated engine in its day but did that have problems wow,on balance go with a 200 tdi at least it does not have to many major problems like the others,if your buying ask when the cam belt was chanced should be every 60k i think
The 300 dti gives the best balance of power and economy.
The best car is the LR3. Whatever engine it has.
Depends what your priorities are. Td5 is the best engine for power, torque and towing but its also the thirstiest and most expensive to repair if it pops.
