No. They were made during the Soviet regime and were just a way to get foreign money. They were old style cars and of poor quality and not very reliable.

Iv'e heard them all,I owned one for 10 years,in those years it got some clog!,it never once let me down.when they stopped importing them the spares got hard to find,so I exchanged it for a Proton,a lot more comfortable and just as reliable
