I want to buy a mr2 mk2 but it smokes realy bad and engine misses when driving is this a major problem?

Answers:
Don't buy it. The excessive smokings could mean that oil is getting into the combustion chamber. That is expensive to have repaired. That could also be fouling the spark plugs, which would explain the misfiring.
it prolly has bad ring cost a bit to fix if its good cheap price and you can fix do it but it will cost you
Leave it where it is. Sounds as if it needs a rebore (a lot of money)
yes , its may need an engine if its stick shift, but if its an automatic then if your lucky it may have a bad vacuum modulator sucking automatic transmission fluid inside the engine causing smoke.
big prob. car has major issues dont buy it unless you want to waste your money
Depending on the color of smoke( blue is oil burning, and white smoke suggests blown head gasket ) Either means bad news for the non mechanically inclined persons. These conditions suggest serious and very expensive repairs. If u know a good motorhead(mechanic) take him with u to inspect the car.
Forget it unless you are good with cars or you are buying it for 50 quid
