It seems that you may have the limited production one, so it was not worth publishing a definitive guide for them.
Treat it as the 2000, as 99% of the bits are the same.

the 2 ltr engine is called the pinto it was used in most cars from the cortina capri & in the searra and the transit
haynes only did the manuels fo the deisel as the petrol was not that populer
try looking on e bay for the searra book this will give you the engine info you need
