Speak to an INDEPENDENT insurance agent. They'll rate everyone. Heck with the direct companies. Just put your address in http://maps.yahoo.com/beta and look for insurance. Call the agent and ask if they have a "comparative rater". If they have no clue what your talking about, keep calling.
I have never heard anything good about Progressive. In fact, they have built quite a reputation for ripping ppl off… their own customers and accident victims. One interesting rumor I have heard is… if you have an accident and it’s your fault, they will actually lower your rate if you call within 3 hours. how strange is that?
