How to fit rear screen in 1963 ford zodiac?

does the chrome strip go in the rubber before the glass is put in the car.or is there a special tool to fit it in the rubber once screen is in car

Put the glass in the seal,then put the chrome in the seal,then use a rope to install,Windex works as a good lube during installation.
its the same as the old fords put the glass in the seal then fit the glass to the car only put the chrome seal in once the window has been fitted yes there is a tool to aid the fitting of the chrome i have used a blunt tool before like a slotted screwdriver but take your time as a slip could mean a new window
