150k to 300k is the very top of the food chain for the last few years at those few airlines that haven't bellied up or gotten wage concessions.
Starting salaries are 20k or so at the regional airlines owned by the majors. And starts at that again if you get laid off due to bankruptcy or layoffs.
And that's after YOU'VE paid for flight training and your first few hundred hours and even lower pay scaring tourists on some little charter operation. OR gotten your butt shot at in the military.
Don't go into it for the money!
