Try, www.moneysupermarket.com, they go through lots of insurance companies to see what the best quotes are.
I found that Diamond were good for me (and still are!). They are one of these womens insurers.
Depends on your car. I used Performance Direct as I drive a high power Jap import. If you car is standard production line model. Tesco or LloydsTSB are pretty cool.
