I hope this helps.
One of the Gaskets in the engine is cracked and is expanding with the heat / pressure. Oil is burning out through the leaks. Garage job I'm afraid.
because it's dirty!
Sounds lie its running too rich.
There is too much diesel going through the exhust before getting burnt up by the engine.
You have oil mixing in your pistons somehow. Piston Rings could be worn out or worse such as a cracked block. Run a compression test for starters.
Whats the mileage on the car?
Maybe the seal around the valves are going and hence oil is leaking onto the head and getting burnt during combustion.
black snoke--- too rich. blue----worn out rings or valves white---water being burnt
Burning oil
Mybe the things just F*U*C*K*E*D
i own a repair shop, and the black smoke your seeing is gas, its trying to over load a little on fuel,it may not be nothing to worry about right now unless its really bad,it may have a sensor or something that's not working right, and this will allow it to load up a little on fuel,it may just clear up on on its own,,id wait a day or two and see especially since you added the cleaner to it,this stuff will make it put out a little black smoke, good luck i hope this help,s.
Your burning oil get it seen to or you will have bigger problems
your fuel mixture is rich, meaning that there is more fuel than air burning in your engine. this can be adjusted several ways. most electronic cars do so through the computer brain. older cars have mechanical fuel pumps that have an adjustment screw. most all cars have an adjustment to regulate how much air goes into the engine. the easiest fastest way to make an adjustment is to check your air filter. a cleaner filter will let more air flow. FYI smoke color tells the following: white means there is more air than fuel (not always a bad thing) it happens often when the engine is cold. VERY thick white smoke means there is water burning or antifreeze (not enough to kill the engine of course but enough to mean a problem) when there is a blue color in the smoke it means there is oil burning (the smoke looks mostly white but there is a blueish color) and black means there it too much fuel as i said. VERY thick black smoke means your engine is burning something other than or in addition to fuel and usually follows catastrophic overheating and proceeds a fire.
mixture is running ritch, or your burning oil like a gooden!
You have been burning oil. Which is probably rings.so have your engine rebuilt & it wil go away!
hi.
if its just white smoke its steam.Radiator, etc
if its blue smoke its petrol.
if its black smoke its oil.
Check the radiator it may need topping up (look for any cracks).
excuse the pun but for want of a radiator the engine is .lost
some times cheaper for you to replace or fix radiator problems if not ,the engine could become too hot and crack. Perhaps the head needs skimming, (head gasket)
Perhaps a good home tune service provider could help make any diagnostic decisions for you if you don't wish to take it to a garage.
your burning oil
