Cost of car respraying?

Hi i work in a body-shop in Shropshire. The average price for a blow over (basic rub down mask and paint would cost £500 to £750). Sadly flip paint has had its day and is no longer fashionable.( pastel or bold colours are more popular these days. ( Candy's are really the top choice)
The flip paint alone can cost you £1500 add the labour costs of around a £1000 for a high standard job with parts removed not just masked over. For a quality respray in pink or black would be from £1000 to £2500 including paint and materials. Expect the metallic pink of black to be a little more expensive than a straight solid colour. Phycotic has given you some very sensible advice, there is alot of rubbish around, be carefull.
To do it properly is very expensive!
Where ever you decide to go ask to see work they have done before, this will give you an idea of quality, try and find one they did at least 3 years ago as a good respray should last at least this long before you start to notice any loss of shine.
Please be careful, there are a LOT of cowboy sprayers, usually poor graffiti artists.
If you are changing the color, it will cost quits a bit more than a regular paint job.
