Does anyone have any advice on going up hills as i always stall and i cant do hill starts as i roll back.?

Answers:
hold it on the clutch while the handbrake is on, push the accelerator pedal down and lift the clutch at the same time till you feel it "bite". Release the handbrake and immediately lift the clutch slightly and press the accelerator at the same time till you start moving forward. Keep doing this till you reach the required speed, then stay in a low gear (2nd or 3rd at most). If you feel the engine struggling then drop down a gear.

Hope this helps!
Use your emergency brake to hold you then take it off as you start forward.
practice, practice, practice, its the only way.just keep your head and concentrate on what your doing.you will get there just be patient
My guess is that you have an older vehicle. Installing an aftermarket fuel-pump should help the situation. A temporary fix that my father taught me is that if a vehicle stalls while going up a hill, or if there is a hill with an icy road, go up it backwards. This has worked for me on 3 occasions. Good Luck
use your handbrake when stopped and as you are about to start off, find your bite point then give it a little more gas than normal just as you are releaseing the handbrake.
give it about 500 more rpm's when you start.might spin alittle at first but as you get used to it you will get better.find a street with not very much traffic and practice
Is your handbrake tight enough?
Make sure when you pull off you give it plenty of gas & you wont stall. Make sure you've got the bite before you pull the handbrake off or you'll roll back.
get some driving lessons, think of other people driving on the road, you could be a hazard.
It's different for everyone, but the way I learned, and still have to do sometimes is to let off the clutch until the car feels/sounds like it's going to stall and right then push the gas and let off the clutch. Sometimes it spins the tires, but usually I can get going with no problems. Hope this helps you! Good luck!
Change your gender to male, you should have no problem then with the complexities of driving.
I was always taught to keep your handbrake on when doing a hill start until you felt the car trying to move forward, then release it as you give it more 'gas'.
Find the "biting point" on the clutch. Gently accelerate whilst raising the clutch pedal until you fell the car move slightly forward. Don't disengage the handbrake until you feel a slight forward propulsion, not to much acceleration, but not so little that first gear will not engage. Every car has a different "biting point" so your own car might feel different to the one you take your lessons in.
Practise, practise, practise, it all takes time, but once you've mastered the uphill starts, the technique will become second nature.
If all else fails, buy an automatic car.
Good Luck!!
(this question is irrelevant to most Americans because most cars in the U.S are automatic)
Practice clutch control .
You shouldn't be rolling back full stop. As soon as you stall put the handbrake on or you'll crash into any cars behind you. I'm presuming you're a learner as no qualified driver would be that bad at driving.
Make sure you've got your handbrake on first. Clutch down and into first gear. Press down the accelerator pedal and lift the clutch slowly until you get to the 'biting point' (the engine noise will change slightly and the car will start to try to move forward. Then take off the hand brake gently press down the accelerator a little further a lift the clutch off.
Takes practice but you'll be doing this without thinking in no time!
trust me I've done this a million times . the best way is like this once your stopped on the hill use your hand brake that way you keep the car from rolling backwards , when you want to move again here is what you do . leave the hand brake on for the moment and drive like you normally do you feel the car trying to brake lose from the handbrake as you do that . then just turn the hand brake off at that moment and the car will move normally forward like you are on a normal road.
get an automatic
