Can someone tell me the best way to stop a windscreen smearing?

I just can't remember but i am sure there is a good way of cleaning and degreasing a windscreen using normal household things.

Answers:
Easy way, Put a bit of vinegar onto a cloth and then put it in your wiper blades. This will remove any smears on your windows when cleaning them.
clean your wipers with white spirit
Change your wipers for new ones, clean with newspaper, make sure you don't use any polish on it.
White vinegar and newspaper. PS, you may want to change the wiper blades.
loosen them where they are fit on.
Because they must be on to tight!
Or get new one because the wiper may be worn.
A splash of vinegar on a soft cloth does the trick.
dont forget to clean the wiper blades as well.
Hi Dude

A old newspaper will bring up your window to a T. Great for stopping windscreen smearing as well

Hi
Clean your windscreen & wiper blades with vinegar it will break down the grease
make sure your wiper blades are less than 1 year old if not replace them
It works
Good Luck
eff
Newspaper is brill on glass.
use an anti smear spray
Vinegar
GET A POTATO AND CUT IN HALF RUB THE FLESH PART OVER YOUR WINDSCREEN THIS IS ALSO GOOD FOR RAINY DAYS THE WATER JUST SLIDES RIGHT OFF THE WINDSCREEN
I have had good luck with vinegar or with windex that has ammonia. But, you must clean the wiper blades as well or they will just smear the glass first time you use them.

There is a product called rain X that does a good job of coating the glass. At speeds above 40miles or 60 Km per hour the wind blows the rain off in little pellets, I don't even need the wipers. But the glass must be spotless before you apply it.
wipe your blades with vinegar
I use ordinary washing up liquid on the blades (but rinse well) and I use Mr muscle window cleaner (household) inside and out using kitchen towels.
1- clean ur windscreen regularly
2- clean ur wipers too
3- during summer, don't forget to put them up when not using the vehicle,so that it doesn't not harden from the heat transmitted by the windscreen glass
4- preferably not to use the soap spray unless u know that it's ok to do so, because it may contain chemicals that will spoil both the glass & ur wipers
5- change the wipers when you feel that it has harden or just as u see the windscreen smearing..

good luck!
Vinegar. It brings up a window really well. Add a little to your window wash too.
YOU CAN USE VIINIGER ON IT
put some vinegar on a cloth and wipe your wiper blades
