What is the maximum load length of your UK estate car (with the rear seats folded down)?

Please say which car you have information about. I'm interested in UK estate cars up to 12 years old.

Answers:
Having an estate car does not give you extra length only more height further back. I drive a Toyota Carina hatchback and with the back seats folded down I can fit a piece of wood 7 feet in length into the back. My friend drives a Volvo estate, and although it is a bigger car (overall length) he doesn't have any more space than me.

If you just want length choose any hatchback or estate, they are both the same. But if you want to carry bulky loads you would be better with an estate.

As an average you should expect between 6 and 7 feet from the back to behind the front seats. Good Luck
