I hope this helps.
Drive it to a garage.
Put Bricks under the tyres.
You don't. a mechanic does!
If you look in the back of the car there should be an ash tray in the centre console if you take that out you will have two cables running into one cable the adjustment is on the two nuts from the two cables

hope this is the same as my Citroen
You should not adjust the handbrake cable on its own, you should first remove the rear brake drums and adjust the shoes correctly, the cable will probably be ok after this, if it isnt then u can adjust the cable itself.
the best way to adjust the handbrake is to get the rear brake shoes adjusted properly, that will make a big differance to the handbrake
Move the handbrake handle up or down depending on whether you want the brake on or off. Sounds simple but it works on my car!
