They will have an account with a big company like autoglass or rac autowindscreens,they will pay peanuts maybe 120 quid but will try n sting you for the full deposit.They will probably argue that the remainder of your deposit is to cover losses whilst the van is off the road.unless it is a mega amount ie 250+ i would let it go and put it down to experience , there is too much small print for them to baffle you with.good luck anyway.p.s eitherway if it is repaired or replaced they will have to by law recieve an invoice stating the work has been carried out to a satisfactory level, ask to see it,check the reg is the same check the dates fall right as well.a repair is about 40 quid..
