Answers:
no thanks. heaver!
It sounds as if your immobiliser is working too well. If it's an automatic, try moving the shifter slightly while try to start the engine.
Sorry about your luck. Won't start.Try the starter!
try checkin ur starter motor, failin tht chnge ur battery or bump startin remove your immob
If it won't crank then there's no power getting to the starter.
Check the battery (again) and starter. Try getting a jump start or bumping it.
Check the leads are connected to the battery properly. Check the fuse box. It may be you've blown a fuse to the starter. The fuse layout should be on the underside of the fusebox cover, or in the manual.
Good luck.
It could be your starter or starter solenoid
Immobilisers are wired into your door lock system, if you open the car with the mechanical lock only then the car may not turn the immobiliser off.
If you have remote central locking try this:
Sit in you car.
Take the key out of the ignition.
Use the remote to lock your car.
Use the remote to unlock your car.
Put the key back in and try starting the car.
If that didn't work then contact the people who fitted the immobiliser they maybe a loose connection.
Yuck..Chryslers and dodges, and plymouths are all junky.and fords....
I have owned one of each they are all junky!!
I would recommend a Honda or Toyota or Nissan.for older vehicles that will still be dependable.
get rid of the immobiliser, seen this done once, most say you cant do it but decent auto spark can sort it.
if your light steroe, everything works. sounds like the starter. while someone is trying to start it. have someone beat on the starter. if it starts, you need a starter.
OK it's easy to prove starter fault.
(Keep fingers from any moving parts)
Turn on your lights
On your starter Motor you have a big terminal that comes from the battery and a small terminal which comes from the key.
Put a piece of wire from the big terminal and touch the small terminal you will get a smal spark (dont worry) this should make the starter work, if not starter is faulty if lights go out then battery or cable problem. If this does work then it looks like immobiliser at fault orswitch that is opperated by Autogear lever or even clutch swith if fitted.
If your starter does work then at least you can drive it to the garage
Good Luck
Jeff
