Vauxhall inspection light?

is there anyway of reseting a 2001 astra inspection light if you service the car yourself or will a garage have to plug it up to reset it?

Answers:
if when you switch your ignition on the insp is displayed in the speedo clock then turn ignition off keep trip button pressed whilst turning ignition back on hold for approx 10 seconds and insp should be reset
when you turn on The engine to the first click to turn on the electrics hold in the reset button for the miles
