1 with wheels and an engine
Idea car has to be the German BMW
reliable, affordable, good gas milage, lots of features, not a lot of miles (if used), no scratches or other blemishes, hasn't been in any accidents or things like that
My new car that has over 450 crankshaft horsepower and 421 at the rear wheels ZOOM! and on the open road 25 miles a gallon. It is a 2006 Pontiac GTO which has been modified and reprogramed. Runs on premium gasoline but I don't care. Gets 13mpg in town I don't care. Here is how I figure it, If Americans don't use up all the gasoline people in China will help us out. So RIGHT NOW GO OUT AND BUY! The baddest fastest Corvette or SUV you can and enjoy gasoline powered Transportation while we can. Or just wait for the Democrats to enact global warming carbon emission regulations
Any car that is:
inexpensive
roomy
trunk space
hybrid
at least a V6 engine
One that starts when you want it to, or one that is free!!
One that has good performance, good sticker price, good resale value, good fuel economy, good safety rating.
The one that doesn't need petrol, and easy to take care of.
Look carefully at what your needs are. Every car is a compromise between practicality points and performance, style etc., they just compromise in different ways depending on whom the car is marketed for. Consider the points below in narrowing down your options:
If you need more than two seats, if you will be doing a lot of driving and need good fuel mileage, if you want a new car, if you need stowage space, if you need/want high performance, if you are drawn to any particular manufacturer on the basis of image, history or styling, if safety is particularly important to you, read online reliability reports and check out users forums for cars on your shortlist to see what other owners really think of their car.
Then you can make up a shortlist. Test-drive each car on the shortlist: you might like them in theory but until you've tried one you wont know whether that car suits you. Then use the internet to find the best example for sale at the best possible price - and enjoy!
Hope this helps.
Porsche Cayenne Turbo S. Very quick, good handling, lots of space, go anywhere, and the Porsche badge.
hi,
I think BMW 335i sedan is presently going very good in the market. It has customary BMW body parts and also offers turbocharged V6 to create greater power, performance and acceleration. It has been clocked at 0-60 in 4.9 seconds and a 1/4 mile in 13.6 seconds. Peak torque of 300 lb-ft comes effortlessly to extend over a wide speed range from 1,400 - 5,000 rpm.
It can accelerate from 0 - 60 mph in just 5.3 seconds. When equipped with sport package, this feature can continue to a top speed of 150 mph. You can also know more about other top models like HONDA, FORD, BMW, MERCEDES-BENZ, TOYOTA and FIAT. If you really want to compare all the latest car models then look at some good car information site like http://www.carpurchaseguide.com. .
Have fun !!
bye

this is an ambiguous question. Are you asking "what car is ideal"
or "what characterisitcs would an ideal car have". Both are subjective.
I would say the BMW 5 series is ideal. It's comfortable, gets reasonable mpg, especially the diesels, is fast, has plenty of space inside, a big boot, an abudance of safety features and it handles really well. On top of all this it looks good.
The Honda accord is also pretty good although a little lacking in the performace stakes for my tastes.
The 'Ideal' car doesn't exist, since by it's very nature it is based on something that is impossible to acheive. 50 mpg, room to fit 5 people in comfort + a big enough boot to accomodate all their luggage. 200mph top speed, 0-60 in sub 4 seconds, low C02 emmisions, easy to drive etc etc.
any one with jaguar on it
The one you buy, and are happy with.
One that starts first time, doesn't give any mechanical problems, gives good mileage return, low taxation, low insurance etc.
When you find it let me know.
A Volvo will never let you down.
Not a V8 car
This is a 64,000 dollar and how long is a piece of string question rolled into one. Every driver has an ideal car I am sure. However, that would make for literally millions of ideal cars. So , sort it out for yourself from that little lot. Good luck.
