What oil is recommended for my mitsubishi L200 1998 and my porsche 911 sse 1987?

You have a choice and it depends on whether you just want to have a very good engine oil (Semi-Synthetic) or an excellent engine oil (Fully-Synthetic).
For your Mitsubishi:
(Fully Synthetic) Castrol EDGE Turbo Diesel 5w-40 or,
(Semi-Synthetic) Castrol GTD Magnatec 10w-40.
For Your Porsche:
(Fully Synthetic) Castrol EDGE 0w-40 or,
(Semi-Synthetic) Castrol GTX Magnatec 10w-40.
By the sound of it, your L200 sounds like a workhorse so the Magnatec would be good enough.
The Porsche sounds like something that would be your pride and joy and the EDGE fully-synthetic oil would be the best you could get for it.
I have used EDGE..it makes the engine run so much smoother. It is what Aston Martin put in all factory DB9s and is put standard in all VWs, Audis, Volvos, & BMWs due to its performance and allows for longer service intervals.
It isn't cheap (approx £37-£47) for a 4L pack. They are available from your nearest Halfords, BP Service station, and also now starting to become more readily available elsewhere as it is Castrol's latest spec of engine oil and is being rolled out to the rest of the UK market now.

go to the car shop they will give you the right oil i do as i have a Mitsubishi and they give me the best oil as its better for your engine
ok open ur hood look at the oil cap or filler cap it will tell u what type of oil to put into ur engines this is the safest way
