When buying a vehicle how many days do you have if unhappy to return?
Answers:
This varies by state.
Don't believe anything the seller tells you. What matters is what it SAYS in writing in the contract/buyer's agreement that you sign.
If it is not in writing - assume you can't return the car!
Depends on the seller and the sales contract
Ask the person that you are buying it from and they will tell you!
A common myth is 72 hours. But, it depends on the state where it was purchased, the dealer, or the sales contract. The dealer can refuse a car once it has driven off its lot and a contract has been signed. Once the car is in the customers control, it is considered used.
in Wisconsin when you drive off the lot you own the vehicle and you do not have the option of returning it. unless you signed the paperwork somewhere other then the dealership. like if thy had a sale off premises at a fair or something
