At what age is a car classed as vintage?

Answers:
Vintage is not a term used by our insurance agency. Classic is over 20 years old, antique is 25 years old, and historic is 50. Collectors insurance uses these terms. States use different terms for plates.
if it was made pre 1975 then it is classed as vintage and you dont have to pay road tax.
25 years
usually 25 years.
