Self employed application developer?

I have an idea for a new business and it is a venture for someone looking for a challenge

I went to business link, when i wanted to start an IT company and the bank they both offered a bit but not enough.

In the end I googled "business angels" and emailed about 60 of them with a very well worded email (if i do say so myself!) got a meeting with 5 of them then unfortunatly the developer I was goin in with decided he couldnt be bothered with the whole thing.

With him gone I was dead in the water, but they agreed to give me a lot of money but it was too late!
Are you planning to pay an application developer for their professional services, or do you expect them to spend their time making your dreams come true for free in the hopes that your venture will succeed and you might throw them a bone later one?
