Wheel alignment?

If the tyres are worn badly on the outside edges and not the inside is this a sign that its out of alignment, bearing in mind that the suspension is a bit worn.

Answers:
yes that's a real good sign its out,,i own a repair shop,,and we do this work all the time,,you need to take it and have it checked and see just how bad its out,,it may need some new parts on it before it can be aligned i run across a lot of them that have to have work done before you can align them, good luck with it,i hope this help,s.
The toe-end setting is in too much
COULD BE BUT THE ONLY WAY TO KNOW FOR SURE IS TO PUT THE CAR ON THE ALIGNMENT MACHINE
If it's an older car wear on the outside edges may be a sign that your ball-joints are worn. On a newer car it's an indication that the struts may need replacing. An alignment may help but have the other stuff looked at my a mechanic real soon.
Yes. That is a very good sign of an alignment problem. I would recommend having your alignment checked and also have your tires rotated on a regular basis to keep them all wearing evenly. And at the time you have your alignment done they should raise the vehicle and do a preliminary check on the condition of the front end steering and suspension components.
i would change the shocks if you know it is not up to scratch
then track it up.
this because if you track up then replace shocks you have then got to re track up the car
your car is toeing in too much, tracking will sort this, suspension would have to be very worn to affect tyres like that.
if the suspension is worn..that tells me that you start with a front end inspection..doing an alignment is a waste of money if the car is not fixed. Also remember to rotate the tires every second oil change..
People who live in Milton Keynes get this problem. It's due to there being so many roundabouts to negotiate. TRUE!
