I want to buy a 2nd hand BMW between P&T reg, any points I should look out for when trading up?

I would guess your looking at a 3 series if so go for a e46 over the e36 they are a much better car both build quality and to drive. go as new as you can, i think the 330 Ci is about as good a car as you can buy the 330 diesel is also the one to get if you want economy
unless your in a VW a BMW is not trading Up it is trading DOWN
