What type of Bosch spark plug is fitted to a Ford Focus?

I have fitted Bosch HR 8 MEV to my Ford Focus 1.6 and shortly after the ignition coil failed. Are the two things related.

Answers:
Probably not connected, it is a well known issues with the Ford Focus for the Ignition coil to fail and bring on the engine warning light, once it is replaced you'll be fine, there usually isn't a problem but because its misfiring it can kill your catalytic converter as it has had too much fuel run through it so if your engine warning light comes on again but it is running fine that'll be the problem
butt plugs
NO WAY omg ur ford had a problem!? wow that never happens!! if u think im serious you deserve to burn in your focus
A Focus is a FORD.enough said !
If the Bosch reference guide stated they were correct for your car, no problem. Coil probably failed on its own.
Dont listen to anyone who cuts down fords im a mechanic and the only reason i drive gm products is job security but to answer your question it can be related you see a bosch spark plug is a high temp plug and if you didnt change the wires out too you probly had a dalay in timing so your computer sent more power to your coil and it already had enough for the next compression stroke so it fried your coil
