Are there any trains into Waterloo in rush hour where I can get a seat? I get on at Woking.?

Answers:
well you are the one who catches it is there?
Stuff a pillow up your skirt, and walk with your hand in the small of your back. Works every time.

Uh . obviously this works best if you're a woman.
I imagine the stoppers from Platfrom 3 would be your best bet, as they start at Woking and so won't be already loaded :)

The flip side is a longer Journey time then a full fast train
I did this commute daily in 2003 and found it a nightmare. the only time I ever managed to get a seat was to drive to Guildford and get on the train from there. There's always the stopping service but this does stop at every hole in the hedge along the way!
The simple answer is YES. You can reserve any seat on any UK main-line service but you will have to pay a bit more for the privilege.
goto woking plat3 and catch the semi fast from there to waterloo departing at 16/46 past the hour, guarantee you will get a seat
