I have a 7 1/2 inch scratch on my fairing of my bike what the best way to get it back perfect.?

Answers:
Something along the lines of.

1200 wet and dry paper an area around it, then use filler to fill the scratch, then rub it down again then spray the area, feathering the edges, then rub it down slightly when dry, then spray, then laquer if the rest of the bike is laquered or cut and polish if not.
The *best* way? . Take it to a good body shop.

Not the least expensive way, but that's not what you asked, is it?
get a new fairing
If it isn't real deep try rubbing compound or toothpaste, a soft rag and water. You can buy plastic care products at the auto supply for better scratch removal.
Depends on the depth of scratch - if it's only in the paint work try T-Cut you'll get it at halfords or any half way descent auto parts supplier.
if its light to medium scratches G3 compound is brilliant for it.my car had scratches it cleared 99% of them and the one deep scratch is faded. its £8.99 for 500ml try this before going to body shop.hope this helps
paint on a small brush let it dry then t cut
polish later
take the bit of ya fairing of and send it to dream machine it will come back perfect and alot cheaper than buying a new one or if ya wana do it cheap buy a decent sticker wot will cover it
