Answers:
Try for an import... I have an import toyota surf magic
and I use it for towing my caravan
why do you want a 4x4 are you a farmer
I have had two Nissans and they have both been GREAT.
Terrano are excellent, but with the new model you can get a patrol at a good price now too.
you can get early descovery;s chep now or go for a big petrol range rover & have a gas convertion done on it
why do you need a 4x4 , do you tow a horseboxcaravan ?
Hi i have just bought a 4x4 if you want one get one just ignore the killjoy tree huggers,i started with a 7,000 budget, after lots of looking about+research,i needed to up my budget to get what i wanted and got a Nissan x trail that i am well happy with,if you have a very strict budget, try to avoid petrol Freeland's and early diesel models these are prone to cylinder head problems.I don't know what kia's you have looked at but avoid Kia sportage the first ones which will be in your budget are bobbin's and you will loose money+street cred,Daihatsu Fourtrack is a good work horse but a little bit agricultural,Nissan terrano or the Ford equivalent are quite good and you will also get a good choice. If i was you i would avoid the large choice of imports due to many stories of parts availability problems+questionable history. To sum up do your home work to avoid any large bills later.Try Honest Johns on Internet for impartial advise ,hope this helps you, good luck Andrew.
